Terms of Service — Ceevee Recruitment Platform

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ceevee platform ("Service"), operated by Correct Context sp. z o.o., a company registered in Poland. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Definitions
- "Platform" refers to the Ceevee web application accessible at app.ceevee.cc and the marketing website at ceevee.cc.
- "User" or "Employer" refers to any individual or organization that creates an account or uses the Service for recruitment purposes.
- "Candidate Data" refers to personal information of job applicants uploaded to or collected through the Platform, including CVs, assessment results, and application data.
- "Organization" refers to a company or entity that uses the Service to manage recruitment.
- "AI Outputs" refers to any data, scores, summaries, profiles, or recommendations generated by the Service's artificial intelligence features.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
4. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share them with unauthorized parties
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
- Be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by team members you invite. You are responsible for ensuring that team members comply with these Terms.
5. Service Description
Ceevee is an AI-powered applicant tracking and recruitment management system. The Service includes, but is not limited to:
- Job posting creation and management
- AI-powered CV scanning and candidate data extraction
- Candidate pipeline management with visual Kanban boards
- DISC-O personality and developer skills assessments
- Branded public job portal
- Email notifications and candidate communication tools
- Team collaboration with role-based access (Owner, Recruiter, Viewer)
6. Plans and Usage Limits
Standard Plan (Free)
The Standard plan is free to use and includes:
- Up to 5 active jobs
- Up to 30 candidates
- Up to 15 AI-powered CV scans
- Up to 5 candidate assessments
- 1 branded job portal listing
Enterprise Plan
The Enterprise plan removes all usage limits and includes priority support and custom integrations. Pricing is determined on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at duke.vu@correctcontext.com for details.
We reserve the right to modify plan features and limits with reasonable notice (at least 14 days). Changes to paid plans will not affect your current billing period.
7. Data Processing and GDPR Responsibilities
This section defines the data protection responsibilities of each party under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Roles
- The Employer (User) is the data controller for all Candidate Data uploaded to or collected through the Platform. The Employer determines the purposes and means of processing Candidate Data.
- Ceevee (Correct Context sp. z o.o.) is the data processor for Candidate Data, acting solely on the Employer's documented instructions in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.
Employer's Obligations (as Data Controller)
By using the Service, the Employer represents, warrants, and agrees that:
- The Employer has a valid legal basis (e.g., legitimate interest, consent) for collecting, uploading, and processing all Candidate Data through the Platform
- The Employer has provided adequate privacy notices to candidates informing them about the processing of their personal data, including the use of AI-powered tools
- The Employer will respond to data subject requests (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) from candidates within the timeframes required by GDPR
- The Employer will conduct a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) where required, particularly when using AI-based profiling or processing data at scale
- The Employer will not upload special category data (Art. 9 GDPR — e.g., racial origin, health data, trade union membership, biometric data) without explicit candidate consent and a valid legal basis
- The Employer will comply with all applicable data protection laws, employment laws, and anti-discrimination laws in their jurisdiction when using the Service
- The Employer will apply human oversight and judgment to all AI Outputs before making hiring or employment decisions
- The Employer will define and enforce appropriate retention periods for Candidate Data and delete data that is no longer necessary for the recruitment purpose
Ceevee's Obligations (as Data Processor)
Ceevee agrees to:
- Process Candidate Data only on the Employer's documented instructions and solely for the purpose of providing the Service
- Implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect Candidate Data (see our Privacy Policy Section 10)
- Ensure that personnel authorized to process Candidate Data are subject to confidentiality obligations
- Notify the Employer without undue delay (within 48 hours) upon becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting Candidate Data
- Assist the Employer in responding to data subject requests and in fulfilling DPIA and breach notification obligations
- Not share Candidate Data between different Employer organizations on the Platform
- Not use Candidate Data for Ceevee's own purposes, marketing, or AI model training
- Delete or return all Candidate Data upon termination of the Employer's account, unless retention is required by law
- Use sub-processors only with appropriate data processing agreements in place (see Privacy Policy Section 8)
Data Processing Agreement
A formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA) compliant with Article 28 GDPR is available upon request. Enterprise customers receive a DPA as part of onboarding. Contact duke.vu@correctcontext.com to request a DPA.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable employment or data protection laws
- Upload Candidate Data without a valid legal basis for processing under GDPR or applicable local law
- Process special category data (Art. 9 GDPR) through the Platform without explicit candidate consent and a valid legal basis
- Use the Service to discriminate against candidates based on protected characteristics (race, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or other characteristics protected by law)
- Rely on AI Outputs as the sole basis for hiring decisions without human review
- Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or other users' data
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the Platform
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Platform
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, source code, AI models, algorithms, and branding, is the intellectual property of Correct Context sp. z o.o. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Platform. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We will never sell your data or use Candidate Data for purposes unrelated to the Service.
10. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes in detail how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data, including the controller/processor distinction for Candidate Data. You acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
11. AI Outputs and Human Oversight
The Service uses artificial intelligence to scan CVs, extract candidate data, generate personality profiles, and produce assessment scores. Regarding AI Outputs:
- AI Outputs are recommendations and suggestions only. They do not constitute automated decisions within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
- The Employer is solely responsible for all hiring and employment decisions. AI Outputs must be reviewed by a qualified human before any action is taken that affects a candidate.
- Ceevee does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI Outputs. AI may produce errors, biases, or incomplete assessments.
- The Employer must not use AI Outputs in a discriminatory manner or in violation of applicable employment or anti-discrimination law.
- Candidate data is not used to train AI models. Data sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) is processed under a data processing agreement that prohibits model training on customer data.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- AI Outputs will be accurate, complete, or free from bias
- The Service will meet your specific recruitment requirements
- Any defects in the Service will be corrected
We are not responsible for hiring decisions made using the Platform. The Employer bears full responsibility for evaluating candidates and making employment decisions in compliance with applicable law.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Correct Context sp. z o.o. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any AI Outputs or recommendations generated by the Service
- Hiring decisions made based on information obtained through the Service
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any third-party conduct on the Service
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) €100.
14. Indemnification
The Employer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Correct Context sp. z o.o., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:
- The Employer's violation of applicable data protection laws (including GDPR) in connection with Candidate Data
- The Employer's failure to obtain a valid legal basis for processing Candidate Data
- The Employer's failure to provide adequate privacy notices to candidates
- Claims by candidates or data protection authorities resulting from the Employer's unlawful or non-compliant processing of Candidate Data
- The Employer's use of AI Outputs in a discriminatory or unlawful manner
- The Employer's violation of these Terms or applicable law
15. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at duke.vu@correctcontext.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
- We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted
- Candidate Data will be deleted within 30 days unless the Employer requests earlier deletion or retention is required by law
- Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 8, 13, 14, and 16) will survive
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
For consumers residing in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence may also apply.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
